This is good news. I have a question though ... did they know you were
following in their tracks? I read the threads associated with this issue,
but if I were unfamiliar, I might wonder whether Team New Hampshire was
being stalked? Please don't flame me. I just wonder why anyone would
feel the need to report and grade a specific letterboxer's activity to a
large audience. It's just a little too creepy for me, that's all.

Haven't you ever gone out letterboxing and found that as you were going
along, another boxer or two was right ahead of you at almost every box?
I think it's more the fact of someone friendly towards Team New Hampshire
attempting to make the point that "Dave" is a "good guy" while he's out
hunting for letterboxes. I don't see what any of the original post had to
do with what Dave feels is good etiquette or courtesy regarding hitchhikers,
or his idea of courtesy towards others when discussing the issue on the list
after he himself requested opinions.
I still wouldn't want my hitchhikers ending up in New Hampshire. And I
still feel he became rude and crude when someone attempted to discuss the
issue. So to me, it's mixing apples and oranges. It might have been better
for morgunjp just to have left the horse for dead and gotten on with Life.
I think Team New Hampshire knows they weren't being stalked. :-)

from what i understand, team new hampshire/gingerbreadjunk has been
banded from posting on the message board. I think it would be the
best if everyone never brought this subject up again. I met him the
other day and found him to be very polite and very respectable. from
what i saw here and for some reason still see, what was said by him
was misunderstood, as well as he misunderstood what was said by
others as well. i think he will become one of the great veterans to
come across letterboxing and i hope that everyone gets a chance to
meet him someday. its about time to forgive and forget. let there be
peace!
